"Lane Norberg's album, Coming to Life is uplifting and enjoyable from start to finish. Songs like "That Old House" and "Amargosa" (which won the 2020 Local Roots Music NW Songwriting Contest) showcase his talent not just as a songwriter, but also as a storyteller. Fans of Mat Kearney, Sarah Bareilles, and James Taylor will enjoy Lane's warm voice and lovely songwriting."   - Ronnie Carrier, Local Roots Music NW

Lane Norberg is a singer-songwriter from Portland, OR. Originally from Montana, Norberg recorded and released his first EP after graduating college. In 2018, Norberg relocated to Portland, OR, where he quickly gained many faithful fans, playing hundreds of shows and touring all over the Pacific Northwest. Norberg has made a name for himself in Portland's vibrant local scene, winning the 2019 Local Roots Music Northwest Songwriting contest, and performing at the 2023 Portland Folk Festival at the historic McMenamins Crystal Ballroom.

In 2020, Lane Norberg recorded his first full-length album in Nashville, TN, working with some of the best musicians in the industry. The album, 'Coming to Life', released in August 2021 and immediately began to make noise. It was named the September 'Album of the Month' by Local Roots Music NW and the song 'We're Not Alone' was featured on the SiriusXM The Pulse show 'Train Tracks' hosted by Pat Monahan of Train.
